While there is little incentive for new plantations to be entered into the NZ Emissions Trading Scheme at the moment, forest owners already in the ETS continue to have a number of opportunities and commitments.

Woodnet continues to offer expert advice and a full range of ETS services.

With or without the ETS, the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events such as droughts and storms is predicted to increase as the climate warms. We can help you plan new plantings to reduce the risk that extreme weather poses to your land-based assets.
